Calvary is a family, one body made of many parts, passionately pursuing God’s vision for our life.  We hope you will join us feel at home and will be encouraged by worshiping God with us today.

“All that Jesus began to do and teach…”

The book of Acts describes the beginnings of the New Testament Church.  Luke, who also wrote the Gospel of Luke, begins the book with some interesting words.  In Acts 1:1, we read:  “In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and teach…”   Here at Calvary, this is our passion, to carry on all that Jesus began to do and teach.

Our purpose is to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ and to teach them to grow in His likeness.

The Bible describes many positive values that contribute to a healthy and thriving body of believers.  However, these three are especially important:

  • Faith - the substance of the supernatural, the courage to believe, expect, and attempt great things for God.

  • Hope - a spirit of peace and confidence that is a by-product of our relationship with Christ, undisturbed by the circumstances of the world.

  • Love - the supreme virtue.  The mark and mandate of all Christ- followers is to love God and neighbor.
